For decades, one of the great team sports that promote unity and spirit is cheerleading. Young people have long desired to be on a cheer squad in support of this great tradition, as indicative of the increased rates of participation seen across the country in recent years. Very soon it will once again be time for the Cheersport Cheerleading Championships, which demonstrates just how far this sport has come. People from all over the region will descend upon the city to watch and participate in various cheerleading competitions. Participants will display routines they have practiced countless hours to perfect. Win or lose the competition, the courage and dedication each person shows towards the sport is cause enough for cheer.
